Internal SAP printing solutions

Intern printing solutions sign for using the common SAP tool SAPScript. All named hardware solutions are also available for SAP R/2, you only have to define the print controlsl.

In Germany the font OCR-A1 is used for printing bank accounts and bank codes. Our hardware products "stethos OCR+Barcode USB-Stick, Flash-Card, DIMM or SIMM" and  "intelligent Jetmobile BarDIMM or BarSIMM" offers this font, OCR-B for printing documents of identification and bar codes. If bar codes are not needed, please take the first named product.

The font control (OCR-A1 and OCR-B) is in scope of supply of SAP HP LaserJet device types.

The "intelligent Jetmobile BarDIMM or BarSIMM" is certificated by SAP und realized nearly all bar codes. Print controls for standard control are part of SAP R/3 LaserJet device typs (in R/2 easy to define additionaly). The codes are freely scalability in X and Y direction and plaintext can be printed at different positions. You only have to define a new print control or just use the stethos AFE driver.

This is the easiest way to call electronic froms out of SAP R/2 or R/3. To store your forms use non volatile memory, normally Flash-DIMM or Flash–SIMM moduls or a printer harddisk. You are able to create your forms in nearly every Windows application you want (only requirement is the possibility to store your forms as a print file in PCL5(e) on pc harddisk). With the forms and font manager (in scope of supply of a stehos flash memory solution) the form can be stored in printer. Then you only have to define a new print control in SAP and connect it to the layout set. Now your will be a layer over your common print job. So the change to electronic forms is a little easy step. The benefits:
- no changes in intern workflows
- reducing the SAPScript adaption to positioning  the printing datas
- changing the forms are possible without changing SAP
- using logos, signatures, lines, graphics, own fonts or symbols is no longer a problem

Due the fact that SAP delivers simple layout sets, this technology should be the easiest way to create high quality forms without expensive education.
